Showcase Quilt

Visons in Outer Space is the Showcase Quilt selected by the Quilt Show Team for publicity materials for the 2024 Quilt Show. Creating orbs using cut pieces of fused prints was a new technique. Fabric selection was based on value, not colors to give the planetary orbs light and depth. Outer space is surely beautiful and colorful. Machine appliquéd. Domestic machine quilted. Original design.
